We've been able to turn the heater off in the rabbitry and open the windows! Our best breeder, Mr. Darcy, has been sitting in his pen, honking happily ever since! We still haven't put up the drywall in the new barn, but we've replaced quite a few lightbulbs since they were strung up, and its nice and bright and cozy in there.
I'm looking forward to getting everything finished! There's going to be some deep spring cleaning. I'll make those old pens look and feel like new again!! The bunnies are looking forward to running in the grassy yard again, I'm sure!
We've been members of the ARBA for a long time, but a while ago I joined The Beehive State Rabbit Breeders Association as well, and through them I've been to some exciting shows and have met all sorts of kind, interesting people who love rabbits.
I'm hoping to get more involved with showing my own rabbits and continuously improving their type. Through the BSRBA, we were able to add three high quality does to the rabbitry and it's really been great.

It was good timing, because we had a few of our more senior herd members pass away at the end of last year, which is always the hardest part about running a rabbitry. It's difficult to say goodbye to the animals you love.
We kept back a few sweet bunnies from our last couple of litters because they were a little more shy than the others. I wanted to make sure they were ready to go to new homes. They have had extra socialization and are very sweet, friendly rabbits, but because we held them back, they are a little older than what we typically sell, about four months. They would make excellent additions to any family and are now available for adoption. Contact us for more information.
